Nice place, seafood are so good.

Very fresh seafood, and price is average. will be lower compare to Sapporo. I like the crab meat options. Indoor setting and 2nd floor sitting also available.

You can eat a proper sea urchin bowl.However, the price is about 1500 yen. A set meal costs more than 2000 yen. If you are staying at a hotel in Hakodate, I think that you can eat seafood at the hotel's meal, so I think that is enough. It wasn't crowded at all on weekdays in June 2020. The parking lot nearby was 100 yen for 20 minutes, so it feels like you can eat quickly and leave the car.

Ordered the anniversary don at 1815 yen. Ingredients were fresh and serving size is considerable.

Food was really fresh! Love the Uni which was sweet and not at all like the ones we ate in Singapore. The smaller bowl was enough to fill us up. Service was good. Went there one day after another. There is an English menu so it is easy to order. It has two stories so the staff will let you know where to sit. We didn’t have to wait very Long.

We picked this out of the 10+ seafood restaurants around as it has the combos we wanted, with a smaller portion. The live scallop was very fresh and definitely worth trying.

Everything here was fresh and delicious. The prices were also relatively lower than other similar restaurants in the market.

Food are super fresh from the sea. And with their current price, what a steal. Best Donburi in Hokkaido island I’ve ever tasted.

Fresh donburi!

A shop located at Donburi Yokocho Market near Hakodate Station. We also served various seafood bowls, but we had a set meal. The large shavings are thick and satisfying. I had a good meal from the morning (^^)

It has a variety of kaisen donburi to choose from. The restaurant is small, I went during the early morning hours so it was quiet. The quality of seafood was good, very fresh.

A small store nearby Hakodate Station. Wide variety of fresh seafood to choose from. If you don't like seafood, you can have the 豚丼 (butadon) which is a pork rice bowl. Good price for a set meal (around ¥700)

This is second time for us to visit Hakodate.The lunch choice is always here.

Fresh seafood at a good price

Great option for kaisen don (raw seafood on rice) dishes in the Hakodate morning market donburi alley. Opening tines can be a bit random, and essentially they close when they run out of fresh seafood. Prices are reasonable and quality is excellent. Their 5 colour bowl is their signature, including uni, crab, salmon roe, prawn and scallop, and good value for money.
